Pulsed Optical Reflection Filter Dynamically-Tuned by the Amplitude Modulation of a Fiber Bragg Grating in a Suspended-Core Fiber

Abstract

A new pulsed sampled fiber Bragg grating filter is dynamically induced by amplitude modulated acoustic waves in a suspended-core fiber. Up to ~800 µs pulse width at the 500 Hz repetition rate are achieved.
