A Distributed Strain Measurement Method for Ultra-high Voltage GIL Spacer Based on OFDR and All Grating Fiber

Abstract

We proposed a high-resolution distributed strain measurement method for ultra-high voltage GIL spacers based on OFDR. Hydrostatic tests were conducted and the strain distributions were measured with all grating fiber stuck on a 1000 kV spacer.
