Distributed sparse-wideband vibration sensing with time delay sampling

Abstract

We propose a distributed fiber-optic acoustic sensor based on frequency di- vision multiplexing and periodic pulse sequence. Two vibrations with frequency up to 4.3 kHz are detected with 1 kHz probe pulse sequence injecting rate.
