Abstract

A customized fiber bragg grating (FBG) acceleration sensor is designed for non-intrusive low flow rate measuring, it has an average sensitivity of 245.2 pm/g. Experimental tests for water system shows the relationship between the standard deviation of vibration data and flow rate is quadratic, the 2 of quadratic curve fitting is 0.990.
