Fiber Bragg Grating Thermometry Applied to Flow Measurements – Laminar and Turbulent Regimes

Abstract

Fiber Bragg gratings are used to measure the flow in pipelines by means of the temperature evolution, at two different measurement points, after transit of a thermal slug. Results analyze both laminar of turbulent flow regimes.
