Abstract

An omnidirectional inclinometer based on Bragg gratings inscribed in seven-core fiber is proposed. It measures azimuthal and inclination angles, simultaneously with maximum accuracies of 0.0001° and 0.025° in the range of 0-360° and 0-90°, respectively.
