Synchronous laser locking and beat frequency technique for ultra-high-resolution static strain measurement

Abstract

Two independent narrow-linewidth tunable fiber lasers are locked on a sensing FBG resonator and a reference FBG resonator respectively with fast Pound-Drever-Hall feedback method. An ultra-high strain resolution of 86 pε is achieved.
