Fully Continuous Fiber-optic Hydrophone Streamer with Small Channel Spacing for Marine Seismic Acquisition

Abstract

We demonstrate a fully continuous fiber-optic streamer with small channel spacing of ≤ 1m and ultra-high sensitivity of −137 dB rerad/(μPa·m), whose field test exhibits tremendous potential for the marine seismic acquisition.
