Abstract

Novel distributed vibration sensing utilizing frequency-scanning φ-OTDR based on a symmetrical linear frequency modulation (LFM) of laser is theoretically analyzed and experimentally demonstrated, enabling frequency response enhanced vibration measurement in engineering applications.
