Simplified scanning-free Rayleigh-Brillouin distributed fiber-optic sensing system based on double sideband modulation

Abstract

We propose a simplified multi-parameter distributed fiber-optic sensing system that is scanning-free and immune to coherent fading. The system achieves a temperature measurement range of 462 °C and sub-meter spatial resolution for vibration measurement.
