Interrogation of Fiber Bragg Gratings employing a tunable VCSEL laser and Optical Frequency Domain Reflectometry

Abstract

This paper presents an interrogation setup for FBG sensors utilizing a wide-wavelength scanning range VCSEL and Optical Frequency Domain Interferometry. We obtained the raw interferograms for conventional and codified sensors, with temperature variations between 20°C-50°C.
