Fiber optic interferometric fringe projection phase-shifting 3-D profilometry using a frequency-modulated laser diode

Abstract

Phase-shifting fiber optic interferometric fringe projection 3-D profilometry was developed by using a frequency-modulated laser diode. The spatial synchronous phase measurement technique was developed for on-line calibration of the phase shift. A 10-sample phase-shifting algorithm is derived and presented.
