Blue-light Induced Red Absorption in LiTaO3 Waveguides Using Ultrashort Laser Pulses

Abstract

Blue light induced red absorption (BLIRA) was investigated using ultrashort pump-probe experiments in LiTaO3 waveguides. BLIRA time and intensity dependence measurements were compared to a stretched-exponential model that is the basis for current BLIRA theory.
