Changing the Color of Light in a Silicon Resonator

Abstract

We demonstrate that the wavelength of light confined in a resonator is changed by dynamically tuning the resonator. Using a 6-micron ring resonator we show approximately 2nm wavelength conversion with up to 34% efficiency. Article not available.
