Modeling of deformed segmented mirrors in grazing incidence telescopes

Abstract

This work shows an approach for modeling “as-fabricated” and “as-mounted” segmented mirrors in grazing incidence telescopes. The model is used to balance the impact of fabrication/mount deformations with segment alignment in the final telescope.
