Abstract

A nanolayered polymer films fabrication approach creating Gradient Refractive INdex (GRIN) lenses with designer RI distribution profiles is reviewed. Fabricated GRIN examples are presented demonstrating unparalleled RI profile design freedom and scalable optic size.
