Design of Diffraction Optical Elements for Beam Shaping utilizing GS Algorithm Improved by Phase Unwrapping via Graph Cuts

Abstract

Beam-shaping diffractive optical elements were designed using Gerchberg-Saxton (GS) algorithm improved by phase unwrapping via graph cuts. Design results indicate that the relative standard deviation of target intensity distribution dropped by 50%.
