Abstract

Coherent Inegrated Optical Systems (IOS), formerly Tinsley, designed and built a glasses mounted augmented reality demonstration system using freeform aspheres to relay imagry from a micro LED display into the eye. The challenges of incorporating the freeforms into the augmented reality technology is discussed, along with results from the demonstration system.
