Non-Contact Metrology of Aspheres and Freeforms based on a Scanning Point Interferometer

Abstract

A method for non-contact 3D form testing of aspheres and complex optics is presented. The approach is applied to the measurement of freeforms and discontinuous optics and limitations of optical metrology of complex surfaces are discussed.
