Abstract

Introduction - In an important contribution to the understanding of modal dispersion in fibers of refractive index along the radius r described by Physically (l), (2) and (3) imply that modes with the same propagation constant have the same group velocity, that the fiber has a small numerical aperture (NA) and that the index is proportional to the dopant concentration respectively.
