Abstract

Gemanium which is known as “the third atmosphere windows” is the most important optical material used at the wavelength from 8um to 14um. Because of its high refractive index, antireflection coatings are needed for many applications. Though there are many articles about the antireflection to Gemnium substrate, designs in practical use are very scarce. We constructed a three-layer antireflection coating by which good performance was achived.
