Compensation of Phase Dispersion in Michelson Type Interferometer

Abstract

We consider the Michelson type interferometer shown in figure 1. The incident beam is split by the first interface encountered. The rear face of the beam-splitter plate as well as the two faces of the compensating plate are coated with an antireflection coating.
