Refraction index heterogeneity in HfO2 coatings

Abstract

refraction index heterogeneity in e-beam evaporated HfO2 films induces difficulties in reaching the calculated optical function of interference filters. These refraction heterogeneities are analyzed regarding the deposition conditions and material characterizations.
