Abstract

We fabricated several polymer thin films doped with photo-sensitive azobenzene molecules by using spin-coating technique. Nonlinear optical properties and novel photonics applications including temporal four-wave mixing, transient optical modulator, spatial light modulator and nonvolatile grating are demonstrated.
