Geometrical characteristics and laser-induced damage of artificial nodules in multilayer coating

Abstract

Artificial nodules, planted with gold nanoparticles, have been analyzed by AFM, SEM and FIB. The geometrical characteristic parameter is 6.5, and damage resistance of the nodule relates to the morphologies of the nodules.
