Abstract

Two dimension photonic crystal waveguide was fabricated using autocloning process which was designed based on the multilayer symmetric structure. To compare the symmetric with non-symmetric stack structures of photonic crystal waveguides, the symmetric structure can propagate EM wave with less loss. Finally, the autocloned photonic crystal waveguides with multilayer symmetric structure was fabricated with the propagation loss about 0.1838 dB/mm.
