Phase shift of polarized light through sculptured thin films: theoretical analysis and experiments

Abstract

We investigate phase shift of polarized light after reflection and/or transmission through TiO2 birefringent thin film and demonstrate that the polarization state of electromagnetic waves and phase shift can be modulated by using anisotropic coating.
