The Role of Coatings in Reflective Augmented Reality Glasses

Abstract

Reflective Augmented reality glasses have two main parts: an image projection element from a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) or OLED and a combiner element for coupling the image to the eye. The role of optical coatings in both parts will be addressed in this paper.
