Surface plasmon polariton excitation in a metallic hybrid film for optical studies of a biological fluid

Abstract

We propose a metallic hybrid system in contact with biological fluid to study optically the fluid by using surface plasmon polariton spectroscopy. A thin film of Ag and other of Al forms the bimetallic layer.
