Abstract

The manipulation of plasmonic nanoparticles offers the possibility to dynamically control light–matter interactions at the nanoscale and is of interest for applications in nanophotonics, plasmon-enhanced spectroscopy and material science. Here, we present a reconfigurable plasmonic particle-on-film controlled by thermo-osmotic interface flows in electrolyte solutions.
