Artifact reduction in photoacoustic tomography imaging using Genetic algorithm

Abstract

To suppress artifacts in the photoacoustic tomography system, we propose optimized weights calculated by using the Genetic algorithm to reach SLL of -22.94 dB that is suppressed by 9.9 dB compared to the delay-and-sum beamformer.
