High performance organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) with molybdenum oxide (MoOx) as the buffer layer

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

An ultrathin molybdenum oxide (MoOx) layer was introduced into OLEDs as hole-injection buffer layer. The turn-on voltage of the device decreased from 3.8 V to 2.8 V and the maximum luminescence value increased from 6300cd/m2 to 11000cd/m2.
