Abstract

Transient electroluminescence (EL) and transient current from organic light-emitting diodes are reported. Each decay curve after turn-off of voltage pulse is composed of fast and slow components. We elucidated that the fast component reflects the removal of exceeding holes while the slower one attributes to the recombination and the leakage of residual space-charges.
