Fast, Approximate Gaussian Mask Algorithm

Abstract

Gaussian Mask is an algorithm for localizing fluorophores in microscopy. Using simulated images, substantial speed improvements are shown to be possible if good initial position estimates are available and the fitting function is Taylor-expanded.
