Ultrasound-Quenchable Fluorescent Contrast Agent: Experimental Demonstration

Abstract

We have developed a novel contrast agent for deep tissue imaging. Ultrasound control of fluorescence emission can overcome the resolution limitations of optical tissue scattering. Fluorescence modulation was detected in an acousto-fluorescence setup.
