Abstract

We use clinical multiphoton microscopy to measure changes in reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) fluorescence of epidermal keratinocytes in-vivo during ischemia in a human subject, and correlate the fluorescence response with the corresponding oxy/deoxy-hemoglobin concentration at the probing site.
