Dynamic of Bright Solitons in a Harmonic Oscillator Potential in Bose-Einstein Condensate

Abstract

The dynamic of nonlinear solitary waves is studied with the Gross-Pitaevskii equation and Split-step Fourier method. The bright solitons stability in a harmonic oscillator potential for a 85Rb cigar-shape condensate under: 𝑎 = 1.63, Ω = 0.1, is analyzed.
