Quantitative Intravascular Fluorescence-Ultrasound Imaging In Vivo

Abstract

To enable quantitative molecular and morphological readings in vivo, a near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF)-IVUS catheter and a novel correction algorithm were engineered. Hybrid imaging was validated in atherosclerotic rabbit model in vivo.
