Non-Invasive Characterization of Metabolic Drug Effects on Breast Cancer Cell Spheroids Using Two-Photon Excited Fluorescence Microscopy

Abstract

We report a non-invasive method, which quantifies optical redox ratio and mitochondrial organization via two-photon excited fluorescence microscopy, and apply it to the characterization of metabolic drug effects on breast cancer cell spheroids.
