1,000-fold Sensitivity Enhancement of Porous Si-based Optical Biosensors for Nucleic Acid and Proteins Detection

Abstract

Integration of porous silicon optical biosensors with electrokinetic focusing allows for highly sensitive label-free detection of target nucleic acids and proteins, showing a 1,000-fold improvement in limit of detection compared to a standard assays.
