Nanostructured Quatsomes Encapsulating Fluorene-Derivatives for Lysosomal Labeling and Tracking

Abstract

Stable, water-soluble nanovesicles, prepared from amphiphilic quaternary amines (Quatsomes), encapsulating a fluorene-based probe is reported. Examination of its cellular distribution revealed its potential utility as a fluorescent lysosome tracker.
