Virus-mimicking Hybrid Nanostructures Containing Indocyanine Green and Albumin for Near Infrared Fluorescence Imaging of Ovarian Cancer Cells

Abstract

We have engineered nano-constructs composed of plant virus capsid proteins encapsulating indocyanine green complexed with albumin. Our results that demonstrate the effectiveness of these nano-constructs for fluorescence imaging of ovarian cancer cells in vitro.
