Flame Hydrolysis Deposition of Glass on Silicon with Porous Silicon Sacrificial Membranes

Abstract

This paper shows how the partly-oxidized porous silicon sacrificial layer can be used to compensate the coefficient of thermal expansion difference between the SiO2 layer and the Si substrate layer fabricated by the FHD method.
