Abstract

A series of Fulleropyrrolidine derivatives were synthesized by 1, 3-dipolar cycloaddition of the azomethine ylides generated in situ from [60]fullerene, different substituted conjugated aldehydes and N-methylglycine. The molecular structures were identified and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR , UV-vis and FAB-MS. The third-order nonlinear optical hyperpolarizabilities and The third-order nonlinear optical susceptibilities were obtained under picosecond laser by Z-scan technique.
