Interference Minimization of Laser Head-Mounted Display Waveguide using Holographic Optical Elements

Abstract

We study on interference fringes in a see-through laser head-mounted display using a waveguide. The disturbing interference pattern is caused by the surface roughness and thin thickness of the photopolymer-base holographic optical element film. Sealing glass can be used to enhance image quality.
