Abstract

In this study, we fabricated a fiber-optic radiation sensor system (FORS) to measure gamma-ray spectra using a GRIN lens to enhance gamma-ray energy resolution. To evaluate the performance of FORS system, the energy spectra of Cs-137 were measured. As the results, we detected the photo-peaks of Cs-137 with different pitch lengths of GRIN lens and measured energy resolutions of the spectra were higher than that of the conventional system.
