Remote Sensing of Atmospheric Temperature and CO2 Mixing Ratio using Broadband Solar Occultation

Abstract

Atmospheric profiles of temperature, pressure, and CO2 mixing ratio from cloud-top to lower thermosphere can be accurately inferred using broadband solar occultation. Results of feasibility studies incorporating multiple bandpasses and refraction measurements are presented.
