Lidar Observations of Mt. Pinatubo Aerosol Above Atlanta, Georgia

Abstract

Stratospheric aerosol from the recent Mount Pinatubo eruption has been monitored over Atlanta, Georgia (33.8° N, 84.2° W) approximately biweekly beginning on June 30, 1991. The measurements were performed with a lidar system in the Electro- Optics Laboratory of GTRI.
