Simulation of Space Lidar Returns under Multiple Scattering from Cloud

Abstract

To perform a reliable analysis of space lidar returns, knowledge on the ratio of single scattering to multiple scattering is highly required. In this study, we have carried out a Monte-Carlo simulation of the space lidar signals from cloud.
