Theoretical Aspects of Light Collection in Solar Concentrators

Abstract

The theory of light collection in solar concentrators irradiated in the “direct” mode (from input aperture) is revisited and new concepts are introduced. Application of the theory is made mainly to nonimaging (CPC) concentrators.
